Stayed the night at Lil Sluice ,parked the rigs on the vehicle side of the red markers, and camped about 400' away in the trees, about 200' from Spider
we had the whole place to ourselves only 1 other rig camped at the entrance to the box, it was kind of weird camping there on a Saturday with no one around,,, :?
watched the helicopters make several trips back and forth from the Springs to Loon for the Jamboree
Talked to Merlin at the bowl, and Kevin got his propane permit at the Zombie Apocalypse bridge at Ellis Creek from a Ranger
no bears
no trash
no action in the revised sluice box.
the trip in and out was lots of fun and no issues from anyone our group of 5 rigs, (Brian and Sierra, Jim, Luigi, Kevin R, Me)
it was my 3rd wheelin trip with the Tacoma, it did great,
I didn't take any photos,, but Luigi and Kevin got several minutes if the whole trip from Raleys to the Box on their GoPros.. 8) 8)

We had a great time, it was nice sleeping under the starts with almost pure silence (except Jaime's snoring). Very strange having the entire place to ourselves. Having not been on this side of the Rubicon in probably 10 years it was a little easier than I remember it but still a lot of fun. It was nice having bathrooms along the trail and at Spider.

Having 3" extra tire height made a very noticeable difference. I definitely like the new tires :D

I think my snoring is what kept all the bears away,
they probably thought that I was 1 of their own was already at that camp and no need to go there...so I probably saved many lives that night... 8) 8)
no thanks needed, I will just keep up the snoring on future trips ... :)
