Well since the sale of the 01' we bought the 1985 4Runner from Jon in our club,, and have been having a blast with it since we took it over back in July 09' it has been thru the Rubicon and Fordyce a couple of time with and without me (Will and Kirsty took it on the Marlin run)
We did change a few things since Jon had it:
all gray SR-5 interior/seats
rear factory Toyota harness seat belts
35" MTRs on 15x10 alumn. wheels
new front spring hangers from Moonbilt Fab
rewired things here and there
SR-5 tach dash
new fab'ed rear cargo panals
removed the 3" body lift
front 1" wheel spacers
***********
things for the future:
4x4 Labs reverse high steer
Longfields
ARB or Zip Lockers front/rear
IFS rear axle
built sliders (in the works)
pre runner front bumper with winch (I have a brand new Warn 9.5 TI)
rear bumper with tire swing out (just need to install)
new exhaust

update 1/08/10 :::

well I had posted a few parts on craigslist, and this guy came over to buy a gas tank I had for sale,, after talking for awhile, he mentioned he had an auto tranny 4Runner, and was interested in doing a 5-speed swap, I told him I had everything needed,, he said he could pay me for it,,or,, he could trade me for some fab'ing labor.
well since I'm a little lay'ed up with this cool looking green cast, I took him up on his fab'ing,
so I took the 4Runner over to his shop (Rock and Roll 4WD in Wheatland) and Curtis built me an awesome tube front bumper and also installed my Warn 9.5 TI winch,
* the front blinkers are only temporary to keep the CHP happy*

Hey, what's wrong with blinkers like that. I've have mine the same way on my bumper for at least 6 years.

If you really don't like them like that there was a post on POR a while ago about how to convert your front running lights to blinkers and tossing the blinkers.

I'm curious as to what rig we get to see at snowflower. Will the Luv be unleashed or will it be the runner?

It will be the Runner, I moved it from the shop area down the hill,(to the running vehicle area.it's still my commuter rig.!! ) and Will snuck in to work on his other Nissan today, so tomorrow the rear E-locker axle build on the LUV starts,!!
