Why use shims on the rear axle, why not just redo (rotate) perches? Wider is better 8)

Why redo,?, there is nothing wrong with running a "steel" shim. which has become part of the spring pack 8)
and I think a 7" wider rear axle is wide enough for this rig...

Nice Shocks! I'm having shock envy! Mine aren't so long or so yellow? Just curious, why such long shocks in the rear? I have some 6 lug wheels if your interested, aluminum 15x 10", small holes like old-school mags.

They were what I bought (I got 10 of these brand new Rough Country gas shocks) off Craigslist for $200.00, awile ago, and sold 2 of them for $50.00, leaving me with the remaining 8 for this project so, I just made them fit,, I'll bend up some tubing to make a set of front dual shock hoops when I get to that point. 8)

and I'm liking your wheels, 8)
just have to see if you still have them after I get a few over time pay checks... :D

o.k. a little more done,! 8)
*****
got the Dana 44 installed up front with the Toyota rear springs
got the hangers and u-bolts at Ruff-Stuff
got the steel braided brake lines and HD tierod from Parts Mike
8) 8) 8) 8)

sits nice and tall (just like the 80's street truck mini's did LOL!..  )

next is to install the 1991 Isuzu Trooper p/s box (I opt'ed to go this route instead of the Topyota IFS box I had, due to the Trooper being basically a bolt-on and only $50.00 off Craigslist) ,and than I can fab up a steering shaft to mate the LUV to a Toyota rag joint, and buy a drag link,........
