Update:

after bringing the black rig up to Applegate Garage for smog and a nice size bill later zack convinced me that while the 22re turbo was really cool it was also a nightmare to own and work on. so I sent it down the road to some kid from chico for $6000 bucks and decided to spruce up the 4runner I already have. traded the 44/14 bolt axles for a nice warn 8,000lb winch. sold those rotted tires for $200 and I am back to just one rig.

parts list:
I have 37x12.5r17 MTR's with Kevlar on their way from discount tire direct
17x9 Monster Raceline beadlocks with steel rings coming from Sexton Offload in Utah.
picked up a set of v6 brake calipers from a coke head down the road
got a set of doors to cut into 1/2 doors and a v6 brake booster from a cooky old guy in georgetown for $75. he makes home made transfer case adapters.... interesting fellow
from the black 4runner deal I have custom tube bumpers and sliders coming with a tube fender flare to try and protect a little more body, front part of the frame plated, re worked rear shock crossmember with bump stops worked into it. and front shackle hangers torched out and bigger ruffstuff tubes and bushings installed since the stock ones are a nightmare to find.
Marlin Crawler diff armor and front fj style brake rotors just showed up on the front porch
I got a ruffstuff long side front truss at a garage sale for $5.
42" curved spot/flood combo LED light bar
24" spot/flood light bar
6 4" led floods for rock lights
100' synthetic winch rope

still to order this week or next:
Trail Gear 6 shooter knuckles with a trunion bearing eliminator kit and full front seal kit.
ARP knuckle stud kit
some braded steel brake lines
miscellaneous bs

still contemplating the best way to go about doing rear disk brakes. sky offload makes a nice kit using GM calipers. trail gear makes a kit but its over priced chinese bs. and then trail tough up in oregon has a kit that lets you re use stock front parts I will already have. leaning towards this option.

E brake I haven't decided between a t case mounted brake, electric line lock, or a 2x4 wedged between the seat and the brake pedal.

I will post some pictures as I go. tomorrow I am pulling off the rear bumper (its for sale) the sliders (also for sale with some really cool removable steps) and cutting off the jankiest front bumper of all time. if anyone has any past experience with the rear disk brake conversion let me know. thanks!

Arp studs aren't really needed with six shooters if you wanted to save some cash. Over doing it doesn't hurt either if the money tree has plenty of foliage.
Pmed you about the tires.

yeah the idea was to not have to take the front end apart again for a long while. I might save some cash... I could add bigger speakers

got the old bumpers pulled off and the sliders cut off. sold the rear bumper. still have sliders if anyone wants them. and a set of free KC daylighters but you have to take the whole grill guard! also the UPS guy came. got some goodies! dropped off the 4runner at the nameless fab shop by ruffstuff so they can build the bumpers and sliders they owe me. hopefully I get this thing back and together before the snow run.

So serious question. Why is the body lift still on there?
